Don't go to Africa and expect to have the internet, although if you find time to go to an internet cafe, it's only about sixty cents for an hour.

It's been amazing so far.  I'm back at the Sim's house (missionary family from the U.S.) for the night so I'm taking advantage of their internet.

I can't believe I've already been here for a month.  I've been living with the Asare-Kusi's family for most of the time after an initial trip up to Navrongo.  Emmanuel Asare-Kusi is the director of evangelism for the Methodist Church Ghana so I've been interning with him and living in the house with his wife and daughters.

I am only here for the one night and then tomorrow morning I am heading up to Wa where I'll be meeting up with a missionary and doing some village ministry and evangelism (up to now I've been in the city of Accra).  I'll be in Wa for about a week and then go a little bit further north to Lawra where I'll be working in an orphanage and HIV clinic.

I've gotten to see so much of the culture and church of Ghana.  I have so many experiences and stories to share.  I wish that I had the time and means to share all of it now, but it'll have to wait a few more weeks for all the details.  I love all of you and miss you.  Know that your prayers have been evident in my life here.  I have been kept safe and healthy and everything that I have done has been blessed.

Hello!

I'm off in a few hours, but I wanted to at least set up the blog.  I'll probably be able to update it once every couple of weeks.  I was going to write blogs more often and then post them all whenever I have internet access.

More details to come soon.
